My silence

Posted by David Hardy · 5 December 2024 01:18 PM

I've not posted in a while, just thought to mention the reason. My elder son, Mark William Hardy, was hospitalized on Nov. 3, and died on Dec. 3. I spent that time sitting in one or another ICU and was too distracted to blog. I still am.

Oh no, Mr. Hardy, that's terrible news. My sincere condolences and I am very sorry to hear this. More than once I have found myself praying for "courage and a peaceful transition" when my family members passed. Each time they all got more of both than I did. I hope you find peace with this soon, and comfort in the fact that he had a loving father.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is not proper that our children die before we do; unfortunately it sometimes is the flow of life. And while my sincere condolences are totally useless, it is all I can offer.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Having read years ago your remarks about your ex-wife Frances and the early life of your son Mark, I can hardly imagine how difficult these days must be for you. Please accept my sincere condolences.

My condolences. It always bad when a parent outlives their child. You have been a very real help in gun rights through the years . I miss your commentary. Take the time to grieve and prayers for you and your family.
