NFA arms
Just reflected--among all the military hardware left in Afghanistan, there were around 978,000 M-16s and M4s. Last I heard, the number of transferrable full-autos in the US was about 200,000. So Afghanistan, population around that of California, now has five times as Many full-autos as does the US! And that's not counting what they got from the Soviets.
I got an email ad for ammo, and replied they should send their buyers to Kabul. They have tons of US-made 5.56, and likely will sell it for scrap value.

Hell yes...let's got get it David!
How many will end up in the hands of other terrorists? How many will turn up in the no-go zones of France, Sweden etc? How many will be sold to drug cartels? If you are smuggling poppy products already, why not? Surely some of those would end up back in South America, Mexico, and the US. I have no doubt they'd be counted as more American guns illegally trafficked to bad guys. Too bad the culprits are beyond the law.
...Beyond the law, but not beyond the MOAB . Find out where they are accumulated and bomb them into scrap. The same with the air assets we left.
...Hostages are lost due to ineptness and stupidity of Bidens Rangers. Write them off, as the Japanese prisoners were written off in WWII? As the Jews were written off. As we will be written off if we don't remove these boobs and take our country back. Biden and the Kamal can't do any better. What you see is their best.
...The Constitution presupposes , at a minimum, competency contained by checks and balances. You cannot balance or check incompetency. Stupid and inept run clear to the bone. Congress should appoint a Competant caretaker government with an interim Democrat President and a firm election date. The alternative is a chaos that attracts the tyrants and dictators we've avoided since 1775.
The flaw in your plan is presuming an incompetent congress can select a competent government.
...Bingo....You got me. Yer dead nutz on, but that's the only way it could be done and stay within the framework of representative government. I don't want to start from scratch....revolution...as the track record of those is pretty bad. Our revolution was a fluke in that it didn't get a Tyrant. Rare, very rare. I just don't think we could get that lucky again, to find another Washington.
...We would be lucky to get a Ford as President. Amiable dunce, but true Patriot and at minimum, Competent; something Biden is not. This thing is in free fall and will be as long as Biden is in charge. Only Congress has the ability to avoid a revolt. If they wait until it starts, too late.
Unfortunately, most congress pukes only read the first fragment of the 1st amendment, "Congress shall make no law" and take it to heart as a mission statement. They prefer to delegate any and all authority to the administration in order to avoid having an actual voting record. The rest of their time is spent hiding line items in various appropriation bills. They are more cowardly than a shell-shocked teen on a hot battlefield, and at least the teen has a valid excuse for poor performance. Revolution would require new founding documents, and there is no way the woke version of those will be improved over the current ones. I've been around the world, and nobody does it better than the "ideal" US, as written in the constitution. Our government is the best that humans can currently manage, and look at the pile of dung we have turned it into.
My hope is SMOD ends this experiment before our species contaminates any other planets.
Bitter clingers seem to get the last laugh if they cling long enough, and remain bitter.
