"Defund the police" in Portland

Posted by David Hardy · 25 May 2021 08:30 AM

This is what comes of it. A gang-shooting followed by police having to mob the hospital to protect against an attack on the wounded.

I once heard of an author who had suggested that society survives because only a few percent of humans are psychopathic. If the percent rises above a certain small number, they take over and all hell breaks loose.

As usual it is portrayed as 'gun violence' when in reality it is gang violence. The ignorance of the reporter is on display with the term "bullet shells". Perhaps that's a mollusk found in the Swan Island area.
The outlook of the author is also indicated by saying "several members of the crowd were reported to be armed". Yeah, DUH- and regardless of color.
As the cops are made less effective, and the crime increases, what would this so called journalist expect from any non-hoplophobic citizen with functional intelligence.

....This isn't just a Portland phenomena, it holds to all Progressive places. My daughter was a ICU nurse in central California. Gang members regularly entered the ICU in violation of hospital policy and provided drugs to their Homeys. They'd tell ( unarmed ) security to F off and slip out when the cops arrived. Hospital administrators ignored visitation rules for their friends. Rules they'd promulgated to limit infection.
...These folks think they're special and that they can talk, threaten, cajole, and beg others to comply and thereby avoid force. When they don't get compliance, the suspend their rules and pretend it doesn't matter. Most of the hospital staff were lefties. Many were cop haters and sympathized with the preditors and grifters who infest the patient base.
