Everytown lobbyist arrested for domestic violence

Posted by David Hardy · 27 May 2019 11:16 AM

Story here. If convicted on the DV, he'll become a prohibited possessor, of course. The unlawful imprisonment means he probably restrained her, and the mischief probably means he damaged property. Adding on those extra charges suggests the arresting officers were pretty hacked off at him,
Hope to get back to blogging now that legal duties have lifted a bit....

Uh ... no. The story is not "here", not anywhere else. He has been charged; not tried, nor convicted.

So heโ€™d be eligible for harassment via a Red Flag Law, then? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah. That's why the headline is arrested, not convicted, and the story is that he was arrested for, and charged with, not tried for. What are you disagreeing with?

I think that he just wanted to try and shut you down... probably an every-town operative
