Why are hunter numbers shrinking? In a few words: Limited land access!

IMHO it has to do with the increase of kids using video games and not doing anything outdoors. Seen it in a friends kids they do want to do anything outside just sit in front of the game console. Also of course guns and hunting are not PC and you can not talk about doing those things to anyone least you get called into the school office to meet the police

Wrong, mi amigo!
There is more public land available today than in years past.

Today's kids want no part of sitting in the cold waiting for a deer that may or may not appear.
Hunted with a young man once who hunted Saturday morning, then went home to watch college football. He would then hunt Sunday morning, only to race home to watch pro football.
