I'm sure this is oversight, not cover-up
The fellow who shot the knife-wielding terrorist at the Crossroads Mall in Minnesota is identified in the media as an off-duty police officer.
Actually, it would be accurate to describe him as a US Practical Shooters Ass'n competitor, a three-gun competitor, and tactical training facility owner, who is also a part-time police officer.

Can't stop the narrative....
Yes, got to love how the press excels at omitting information to further their agenda.
That is why I like Practical Shooting and 3-Gun. People learn how to use their firearms safely and effectively.
I visit matches in Europe and all of the competitors complain that European governments tries to do all possible to take firearms from legal owners. My friend from Netherlands told me that even his shotgun permit was cancelled because of the new laws. You cannot own a pump-action shotgun in Austria. Great Britain shooters told me that they have very strict gun laws. Some countries like Poland, Switzerland, Finland, Norway have good gun laws because of the long traditions of gun ownership.
Jason Falconer is a part time police officer. He is so part time, that they will not even be assigning him to desk duty while they investigate the shooting at Crossroads Mall.
Why don't they put him on desk duty you ask?
He is not scheduled to work as an officer anytime in the next two months. THAT is how part time he is.
