As a Floridian who lived while he was Governor, I have to be a bit disappointed at Jeb's performance. Maybe he was shucking oysters in Maine when the latest laws regarding the mentally ill were passed under Governor Scott and the blessing of the NRA. They offer the protection we need to make sure that people with real problems are banned from obtaining weapons via the courts and not to be used as a gun control measure by those who wish us ill. The law goes on to provide a set way to either challenge a determination of adjudication mentally defective or a relief from it once the person is healed.
