Howard U Law symposium on firearm laws

Posted by David Hardy · 27 October 2014 08:41 PM

It's to be held on Thursday, Nov. 6, at their law school (2900 Van Ness Street, NW, Washington DC 20008 -- the law school is not part of their main campus). Dave Kopel and I will speak, against an Orkish horde. Webpage here.

Re-site the second amendment to them and ask them to show where their "gin laws" are called for in said amendment.

Good luck. Even within the bastion of the liberal elite, you will find isolated glimmers of understanding and recognition. Not everyone at Howard has had their eyes closed to the truth. Speak well. You can spark some questions in the minds of those whose minds are open. And you can invigorate those quiet freedom-lovers who usually have to muzzle their thoughts while they are within the ivory tower.

Sounds like fun. I'm not doing anything until a symposium on the war of 1812 on November 15th. Any chance I can tag along?
