NY reports on its new gun law

Posted by David Hardy · 29 December 2013 09:59 AM

After nearly a year: 1,146 felony charges, which were previously misdemeanors, 59 arrests for possession of a magazine holding more than ten rounds, or of a ten round magazine with more than seven cartridges in it.

In the meantime, NYC has cut its police force by 17%, I assume to reduce its budget.

Yup. ..Arrests & charges, but I've not heard of any convictions. Indeed, the article side-steps the issue.

One item Prince Andy & Co can't ignore is the lack of contraband gun registering. His response to being *flipped off* should be something.

NYC has always been about big announcements of arrests but you never see anything about what happens after. Bloomberg is a bully who has spent his time and New Yorker's money on bully tactics in an effort to get his way. It is good he is gone but even better that I left there 25+ years ago

Waiting to see the big drop in murders next year.

So, now that a judge has struck down the 7 rounds in a 10 round mag statute, what happens to all the people convicted of, or who pled guilty to, violating this statute?

Yep, take the guns from the citizens, take the cops off the street, then the criminals will
have just what they want!
