An interesting concealment holster

Posted by David Hardy · 18 April 2013 09:56 AM

Youtube video here. For the ladies, only. I'm told, BTW, that with the smaller guns you don't want to fire once and assess the results, but rather to empty the magazine if there is only one perp. Seven .380s have a lot more stopping power than one.

The Flashbang is an excellent holster, but that video does not show the correct draw, which requires a much broader movement with the support hand to get the cover garment out of the way, along with the shooter's elbow and brachial artery.

Unfortunately this holster is not made for all women. You have to be quite busty to be able to hide even a small gun there. I researched this one a few months ago and I can't say I'm comfortable with the angle of how it sits but this is also not a holster that would work for me so I don't have to worry about it. The Marilyn holster is a nice option but once again only for the busty. A lot of holsters for women's conceal carry seem to be for bigger girls. After long hours of research I was able to find one that would work for me. That's the beauty, there are a lot of options out there, thankfully.

And a note about the other comment, I strongly encourage everyone to practice drawing from a concealed holster in varying positions, it's better to be comfortable and confident about that particular draw because if you do happen to have to draw from there, you better be good at it.
