Hey protecting 4yo is the job of the state - how dare any dad be thought of as a protector by his 4yo!

I hope that this guys gets a nice settlement, like enough for a new house and to put all his kids through school to post-doc studies.
What a bunch of morons. I hope that they get what they deserve, good and hard.
This was in Canada. He's lucky he didn't get sent to prison for letting his kid see a gun. Canada may have just gotten rid of its long gun registration boondoggle (billions spent over decades and absolutely zero crimes solved or even helped to solution,) but my impression is that except in the most remote areas of the country, it is still massively hostile to gun ownership.
Wow you'd think guns were illegal there or something.
