16 year old Montana honors student forgets a cased hunting rifle locked in trunk of car, then informs the school of her mistake, and now faces expulsion. Contact data is in extended remarks below.

From an email supporting her:

What can you do about this outrage?

Forward this message to every gun owner you know, in Flathead County, in Montana, or elsewhere.

Send messages to school officials and school board members. Use your own words and be polite. Remember, they think they wear white hats, even if you don't think so. It IS okay to say you feel very strongly about this, but no profanity and no name-calling, please.

She should have just kept her mouth shut. What they don't know won't hurt them. Tell them and it hurts you.
The gun was in the trunk. Out of sight, out of mind.

The only good that will come of this type of issue is that the younger generation will see how stupid their ruling elite elders are and as they mature and take control the nation will change for the better.

This happened a couple of years ago to a girl who was trying out for the Olympics as a shotgunner. She had shells in the car and they wanted to expel her and the whole 9 yards. No gun just shells as she was going to the range to practice after school.
Not sure of the outcome but I think she left school and became home schooled.

This teaches a valuable lesson - don't be honest.
