Mr Browning deserves his day and I'm happy to see him receiving this recognition.
Something to consider:
I was reading a copy of Gun & Ammo's M-1 Magazine recently and ran across a reprinted January 1964 story about David Marshall "Carbine" Williams and of his many contributions to firearm design. His life was, to say the least, interesting. While reading the mini-bio I was struck by the fact that he didn't live long enough to be classified as a prohibited person by the government of the country he helped our fathers to defend (M-1 Carbine).
I often wonder if there's another "Carbine" Williams out there who will never have an opportunity to make the positive differences Marsh Williams did because he's been forbidden by "reasonable regulations" and "due process" to merely remain in the presence of a firearm.
