I dunno. Norinco 1911s are legendarily good. Hi-Point 9mm carbines have a pretty good rep, too.

Some of the opinions I've read on guns NOT to get are interesting and conflict with both my readings and experiences over the last 20 years.

Not saying they are wrong, just different thoughts than me on some.

This was the first functional complaint (as opposed to size/clunkiness/appearance complaints :) ) that I've ever read of the Ruger P-90!

I recall that one of the reasons behind California's Safe Handgun legislation was to prohibit the sale of Raven/Phoenix Arms pistols.

Suprise - 6 of them passed the various "safety" tests and are on the approved roster.
