Gun laws to be less restrictive in New South Wales

Posted by David Hardy · 19 June 2008 09:27 AM

Article here. Looks as if, as is common in parliamentary systems, the largest party is still slightly less than a majority. And pro-gun Members formed their own party, the Shooters' Party, which is just enough to give the dominant party a majority if it votes with them.

I never thought I'd see the say when a country other than America would become less restrictive on its firearms laws, but hopefully Australians have seen the light.

And good for the Shooters Party. Perhaps I should leave the Republican Party and try a Shooters Party here. Vote the weak, the wrong and the liars out of office.

If you're stuck with a parliamentary coalition type system then it's best to maximize it along the lines of Liberty, good for them!

Come on, Thomas. It's not like they're actually achieving anything but tiny cosmetic changes to the law.
