Proposed Calif laws

Posted by David Hardy · 3 October 2006 09:06 AM

California -- let's see. The Legislature turned down microstamping, I'm told, then passed two bills stopped by the governor's veto. Here's a webpage on what's still pending.

Glad I live elsewhere.

The about.com link is out of date...the bills mentioned are not current, and Gray Davis has not been governor of California for some time now (thank goodness!).

Hey, you gave me a good scare with that one!

But as Bill pointed out, this was back in 2000 when Grey Davis was "governing"-- not that the news today is much better, but at least Schwartzenegger DID veto a couple of pretty bad bills just recently.

I sure wish he was an action figure as Governor like he was in his movies... but then I guess no one could deal with the far-left legislature we've got here any better. Much as I wish they could.
