I get up this morning, look out front, and what do I see but an albino roadrunner!ablino roadrunnersm.jpg

The Audobon Society would love a copy of that photo.

On the flip side, however, does an albino Road Runner make it a candidate for the endangered species list and does eminent domain come into play?

Last year the kids visited us in Mesa. We drove out Apache Trail and stopped at a couple of tourist traps along the way. Continuing our trek the kids commented how little wildlife there was to see.

I said look out the window and see a couple of roadrunners. Half a mile further a coyote was slinking down a game trail very unconcerned at the traffic on the hiway. When I slowed to let the kids gawk he sped up and soon disappeared over a rise.

You have to keep your eyes open to see any wildlife, there are hundred of quail around my residence that hardly anyone sees.
