So much for expert witnesses in 2A AW cases....
A Marine colonel, filing an affidavit in an "assault weapon" challenge, says a single .223 hit will cut a person in half, not to mention a lot of other things that suggests he hasn't the least understanding of firearms or ballistics.

Case No.: 8:17-cv-00746-JLS-JDE
EXPERT WITNESS REBUTTAL
REPORT OF J. BUFORD BOONE III
for a response in the case file.
"It is my opinion that Colonel (Ret.) Tucker’s report is plagued by inaccuracies and opinions that are contradicted by fact.
His claim that a single small arms projectile is capable of “severing the upper body from the lower body, or decapitation” is so ridiculous that it should, and actually does, cast doubt on his qualifications as an expert in the field of firearms, particularly as it relates to wound ballistics. "
Flight-ER-Doc: he is in fact a Marine, but a logistics type.
Who removed from a command for cause, namely unprofessional conduct with a female subordinate.

A zipper failure?
Was he ever in combat?
Flight-ER-Doc:
Does an O-5 ever experience combat?
outside of a TOC, that is
Well, being a high paid REMF that signed the request chits ordering all that ammo surely qualifies him to testify as an expert, and you meanies doubting that surely must be white supremacy or misogyny or something.
I hope they drop him off the Marine Corps Ball invite list for forgetting, or purposefully ignoring, his oath to the constitution.
He obviously tripped over the loose ammo after is dismembered somebody, and his "unit" fell into the subordinate.
As O1s to O4s maybe...
Shows how slack he was as a commander: Leaving that ammo rolling around
Has anyone vetted this guy? Is he really a Marine? A Colonel? And what is his military record?
Because this is such BS, it's an embarrassment to the USMC
