Fat chance

Houston police ask customer who shot robber to come forward. I'm sure the victims who saw him will be unable to describe him well, so why volunteer?

All the other customers left, too, as I understand. Dude got smart and lawyered up before coming forward last night. Hopefully he gets the keys to the city and not a prosecutor trying to make a name for him/her self.

The mayor may want to give him an award. The DA may want to prosecute him

Considering it's Houston (where cops file false charges leading to the execution of people for made-up drug charges) I'd keep his identity to himself.

Thats what happens when cops misbehave.

The shooter has two chances to walk from this incident:
1. Prosecutor declines to charge him or,
2. If charged, a jury acquits.
Otherwise, the video clearly shows him using unlawful deadly force when he shoots the bad guy in the head after the other gun is out of the way.
Up to that point, he has a self-defense/defense of others claim.
