2nd Circuit to hold argument in NY cases

Posted by David Hardy · 16 January 2023 06:37 PM

Story here. The four cases will be argued on March 20. As the article notes, the Alito-Thomas concurrences in the earlier motion to stay may be functioning as a shot off the Second Circuit's bow. "Treat these matters with care, we're willing, even eager, to grant cert. on them."

The major issue today is that those we elected no longer restrict their grafting from domestic sources, but sell out to those who wish us harm. Let this abandonment of our Constitution be a warning that we must move to replace every betrayer we suffer in office today with those who have a vested interest in our land, our society, our Constitution, as do we.

Liberty or Death it is then.

Let's say those cases do end up before SCOTUS and they do grant cert. and then overrule the lower decisions.
What's to keep the local authorities and lower courts from continuing to ignore Supreme Court decisions?
Is a Biden Admin going to sanction those rogue jurisdictions? Not likely.
About the only salvation would be for the local law enforcement to refuse to enforce the laws in question.
What's happened with Sheriffs in Illinois may be an indicator.
In any case, expect civil disobedience, in various degrees, to be the norm.
