FBI won't release quarterly crime stats

Posted by David Hardy · 23 March 2022 12:15 PM

Story here. There are just too many PDs that aren't sending in data. I don't recall this happening before, there were some scandals in individual cities (in the 60s, the FBI stopped reporting NY City for a time, after concluding it was cooking the books to make things look better than they were), but I don't recall any mass failures to report.

Accurate crime statistics would reflect badly on favored demographic groups. Ignorance is bliss!

Don't forget, there is a primary coming up, can't have embarrassing questions about increased crime stats if there are no supporting stats.

Sort of like the CDC(P) [ Center for Democratic Conquest and Propaganda]. It may be a variant of, "If we close our eyes, maybe it will go away.". It is certainly proof that the FBI is even more worthless than it used to be.

I remember under-reporting as well as non-reporting. Car jacking became auto theft, home invasion became burglary, attempted murder became ADW, and a drive-by was discharging a weapon from a vehicle. In the wake of the "peaceful protests" and mass looting I doubt the book cooking recipes have changed.
