Prosecution doubles down in Rittenhouse case

Posted by David Hardy · 15 November 2021 07:38 PM

The prosecution closing arguments describe the rioters who were burning the town as "heroes" and Rittenhouse as an "active shooter" whom his attackers were trying to stop.

I think that the entire Rittenhouse prosecution was a threat to any who dared to resist the next wave of Democratic Storm Troopers. Since the Democratic Governor has called out National Guard units, I suspect they think that the threat hasn't worked. Possibly the locaL Police have made it known that they will protect "their" town but that the rioters and their hired transport are on their own. The antics in the courtroom maybe just last chance "theater". There is the potential for some real ugly in Kenosha.

Agree, the prosecution was like a shot across the bow to warn the plebes that they need to hide and listen to their betters. The timing especially after Virginia, is because the plebes are restless and that can be worrying to our "better"

Where can I watch the live-stream version of the trial? All I can find is the movie version where Gary Oldman plays the prosecutor.

It is also good that the weapons charge was dismissed. Binger trying to say 948.60(2) was final, without referencing the exceptions, would have been problematic for youth hunters, trap shooters, and target rifle teams. The law was amended in 2005 to address some of these concerns by making it legal for youths to possess rifles and shotguns.
Wisconsin has a lot of high school trap teams.
