of course the progs are going to say it is basically a very small state so what is does doesn't apply to a "normal" state
I believe IA had a “permit to acquire” requirement for purchasing handguns, either privately or via FFL. The permits to purchase were issued by county sheriffs and were good for one year. In some ways it was akin to what NC still requires. So this new bill simply did away with the “permit to acquire” regulation. And also enacted constitutional carry.
