Well at least we were, Now a days I wouldn't be too sure, though I would like to think there is enough of us still that would be there

Yes, there are some. Some old guys (being an old Jarhead myself), and some young guys/girls too. I have three adult kids who turned out that way, although the likelihood of us wanting to do the bidding of a Joe-n-Ho government is pretty much zero. I'd put the percentage of politicians and bureaucrats worthy of loyalty, and who understand that it must earned and reciprocated, at 1% on a good day.

...Of course, they didn't do it for any President, or any Congress. They did it for George Washington. And for a chance to kill those guys who talk funny and wear big hats. Who amoungst us could pass up an opportunity like that. To make America Great...the first time.
