I keep seeing articles referring to the Santa as “politically correct.” Since when it is politically correct to be anti-gun? I was under the assumption that the Second Amendment enshrined our god given right to keep and bear arms. I think the “politically correct” thing to do would be upholding the rights guaranteed in the constitution.

As far as Santa is concerned, I’m glad he was fired. There is no place for his personal opinion in the job. If the kid wanted Barbie dolls, make up, GI Joe’s, or a Barrett M82A1, he should have just told he kid “I’ll see what I can do” and kept his personal opinions out of the picture.

My three kids were shooting .22's by 5 and six, and my last one got a first generation Davey Crickett for his sixth birthday.

My dad started supervising me on correct/safe gun handling at age 3 with an M1 Carbine at an Army range in occupied Germany. I started my daughter on guns when she was a pre-teen. Today she's a retired police sergeant.
