SHOT Show 2021 cancelled

Posted by David Hardy · 31 October 2020 01:28 PM

Just got word. Not unexpected... this isn't the time for a 60,000 person gathering of people from all over the world.

It is also an example of the economic destruction by this insanity. 2019 SHOT brought 88 million in non-gaming revenue to Las Vegas. This does not count air fares and shipping of exhibit materials. Despite all the happy talk about the economy, there is a tsunami of debt and business closure gathering for the coming year.

The Consumer Electronics Show which also occurs just before the Shot Show has also been cancelled. Its attendance is typically >200,000. The loss of these 2 events is devastating to the Nevada economy. The governor thinks shutting down the state is good thing. He is drunk with power.
