Firearm sales hit new record

Posted by David Hardy · 6 July 2020 03:44 PM

In June firearm background checks hit nearly four million. The true number of firearms sold probably was greater. A person can buy without a background check if he has a CCW permit.

I can remember a time (late 1970s) when total American gun production and importation was three million per year. We just exceeded that in one month.

So look for simple things on line like a 38 SP revolver and then try and find ammo for it. I've looked at a number of the major firearms websites, there isn't much to be found.

I like my 45LC still available from mail order and I can re-load. Simple straight wall cartridge even an old goat like me can do

look for something in 357 magnum as it can also handle 38sp. There are a lot of them around.
I like the Colt Trooper Mk III w/6" barrel. Nicely balanced that even my 5'3" daughter thought was a pleasure to shoot in 38sp
