Supreme Court denies cert in all pending 2A cases

Posted by David Hardy · 15 June 2020 08:24 AM

Docket here. Justices Thomas and Kavavaugh dissent. I could not anything of their rescheduling these cases, some for over a year, and can make even less of then denying them all.

...A pity, but the Cheese Justice probably wants to see which way the election goes. He's the guy in the Black Robe Group photo with his right index finger extended to check the wind direction.

This seems like fear, plain and simple.
They don't want to do their damn job (even as much as it's been perverted), because it might stir the pot.

Just how hard is it to interpret “shall not be infringed “???

You have to filter that phrase through the recently discovered legal doctrine of "How will the press perceive Robert's legacy."

1857. 2020. The USSC has no credibility or rectitude.

That will be Roberts legacy

I suspect Roberts realizes that the best he can hope for is that whatever dirt the Left has on him, that brings him to heel when they whistle, will stay hidden.

wrangler5, if the Left has dirt on him, the right should use it too.

The Rodriguez v San Jose case is still 'open' and cert not denied (yet?)

Plaintiff is ably represented by Donald J. Kilmer.

Note that while this is a 2A matter, there's also 4A/5A issues intermingled.

Fingers crossed!
