Thoughts on the impeachment

Posted by David Hardy · 3 February 2020 08:55 PM

While I've never been a corporations law guy, it appears that directors are agents of their corporation. Of course agents of foreign governments are subject to registration, we know that because one of those was was recently convicted of a felony and sentenced to 1.5 years imprisonment plus deportation.

Curiously, a search of registrants does not turn up Hunter Biden, nor anyone named Biden.

Did either of them, or both of them, function as agents to influence Ukranian policy? If either or both did, then they committed a US felony, and the chief LEO of the US is entitled to demand an investigation.

UPDATE: at least as I read the law, it applies to American citizens acting on behalf of foreign principals. Now, "foreign principals" do not include Americans temporarily overseas, that is, a person who is a "citizen of and domiciled within the United States." But the only citizen-type exception for agents (such as the Bidens) is for American newspapers and such, provided they are 80% American-owned.

...Old Joe " Plugs " Biden can claim diminished capacity and he has plenty of video evidence to prove his case. Hunter can claim that he is fruit of the poisoned tree and who can say he's not ? Gen'l Barr would be kicking three legged blind dogs to prosecute these two mutts.
...That doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy it beyond words .

FARA does not apply to U.S. citizens. It's in their FAQ, for any who want a citation. I'm pretty sure that both Joe and Hunter are U.S. citizens.

Just as we know socialism is for the people, not the Socialists, we can be sure the laws are for the people, not the Lawmakers. Like any pyramid scheme, it's a great system, if you are at the top of it.
