BBC on Virginia resistance movement
In my shortwave listening days, I relied upon the BBC for impartial and intelligent American news -- especially on an election night. It seems to be the same now in the age of the internet.

Seem like an objective report. Am I missing something Doc?
The report seems surprisingly fair, considering it is the Beeb. What the future holds will likely hinge on the 2020 election. If DJT wins, AND if he appoints one or two more originalist SCOTUS justices (and if they really are such), there is a chance for some relief of the tension. If we get lucky, some of the delegation of Congressional authority to the bureaucratic/regulatory state and some of the infringements of the 2A will be reversed. If we see a Bernie, Bloomberg, Biden, or Buttihead Presidency, and the "Ds" get majorities in Congress, all bets are off. Those four and their cronies (like Northam) are stupid enough to think making "law" will automatically make compliance.
It was interesting to hear the guy talk about open insurrection. I truly think the dems figure never happen people will just roll over. They think that the sheriffs will just go along and that they are just talking. Many be some up prohibition had among the highest non compliance rates and look pot is now legal in many states and the feds are not going after it.
Just pass a law and people will just do what we tell them is not a good strategy - look at NY and the safe act
I get the BBC World Service on my satellite radio...and find it far WORSE than regular news in terms of wokeitude and bias than terrestrial radio
