Thought for the day....

This seems a good demonstration that the "Steele dossier," presented to the FBI, was BS. I wonder why no one is thinking of 18 U.S.C. ยง1001, under which Gun. Michael Flynn (and longer ago Martha Stewart) was convicted. It makes subjects to up to five years' imprisonment anyone who willfully "in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government... (1) falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact; (2) makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or (3) makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry..."

I strongly suspect that loud talking, finger pointing and head shaking will be the only effect all of this information being revealed will have on the many liars, sleazy "investigators" and other peripheral participants in the great Trump hoax.
The participants blather on about no-one being above the law, but we all know that doesn't apply to them or any others involved.

I am hoping that bit of USC is one of the sticks used to beat some of the culprits, while offering the carrot of immunity for testimony. While I doubt Barr and Co. have overlooked anything, I'll believe that motto on the Supreme Court building when I see it in action. I've watched for the last 20+ years as the progressive machine (and well connected others) did as they pleased with near zero consequences. Perhaps, if I'm still around by 2030 and some big names are completing their Federal sentences, I'll have more trust in the system.

For those that don't already follow Sundance over at theConservativeTreehouse.com, I recommend that you check it out. In my opinion, no one else does better analysis of the ongoing Democrat/Mainstream media coup against Trump.

What occurs to me is that the FBI and the DOJ INSIST that the 17 blatant examples of 'mistakes' and 'errors' pointed out in the IG report are NOT clear evidence of political bias... which means they must then just be typical of the FBI's day to day work...
So to believe the FBI didn't demonstrate criminal bias, you need to accept that they DID demonstrate gross incompetence rising to the level of criminal negligence... Either way: Heads should roll. Pensions should be canceled.
