Very interesting. Among other things, at the outset of the current administration, eleven Circuits had vacancies, most of them had 2-3 vacancies, the Ninth had four. At the moment, two have a single vacancy and one has two vacancies.

The judiciary is like Gump's box of chocolates. No matter how it is packaged, most often you are left with a bad taste in your mouth.
Too bad we have to play games getting OUR guy in there. If the judges were honest and honorable we could choose anyone and they would use the law and not their predilections to make decisions. They need to go for a research PhD and learn how to be truly objective and learn to "let the data lead them." And the judiciary needs to learn who's the boss? The Creator or the created. Then learn they are the created and the Constitution is their boss and so they have no authority to define their boss thus no authority to tell the people what the Constitution means.
