California to require background checks for ammo purchases

Posted by David Hardy · 25 June 2019 07:32 PM

Story here. That's strange. I thought their "stringent gun laws" prevented bad guys from getting guns. If those laws are failing, I'm sure this new one will be equally effective.

No doubt this will increase ammo sales in Nevada. How many CA residents travel to Las Vegas or Reno every weekend?

Does CA regulate reloading supplies?

Mike, it will be illegal to bring in ammo above some stupid amount, something like 50 rnds I believe. This also applies to ammo taken out of CA for shooting and bringing back the leftovers as I understand. Jeff, reloading isn't regulated . . . yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the civilian disarmament complex focuses on stopping this evil practice for the chil'uns.
