A timely book
In light of Roger Stone's arrest (SWAT team, predawn raid, cameras on hand to film it make sure everyone gets the message, something that would be a sign of a coup, or coup being thwarted, in a Third World country) Sydney Powell's book Licensed to Lie is very timely. She was a Department of Justice attorney who went into criminal defense and participated in several cases where the DoJ attorneys lied and hid evidence that there were required to disclose (and which in at least one case clearly showed the defendant was innocent, something revealed only after he served prison time).
Frankly, at this point in time we do live in a manner of Banana Republic, just one where the regime is more competent at staying in power. And by regime I don't mean the president. He may be the titular head of state, but the actual regime is well under him, most holding (essentially) life appointments, with little internal control.

Licensed to Lie is a hell of an indictment of the feds. DOJ, Fed judges, FBI, Fed prosecutors, (hell maybe the janitors too) should be in jail. One and all conspired to suppress evidence, intimidate witnesses and attorneys, and subvert the process. Banana Republic indeed. The continuing cover for the Hill-n-Bill traveling grifter show and the pummeling of Trump is more evidence.
In a book he wrote after winning the Ruby Ridge trials, Gerry Spence mentioned that he'd never had a trial in Federal court that didn't include serious prosecutorial misconduct.
You must be talking about the judges who have screwed up more of the Constitution than all the Congresses and Presidents combined. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Too bad legal studies don't include reading Cooley where he explains that warrants should be served during daylight hours and with as little as possible fanfare. In this case, as with the Branch Davidians, the government is trying to scare the People. Some day maybe the stupid People will wake up and realize that they've been lied to about the Constitution, that We the People created the Constitution and are the only authority superior to the Constitution. It is OUR rules for the judiciary, the legislature, and the executive. Too bad that simple concept isn't pounded into the brains of the People and the servants of the People.
