L.A. City Council requires all contractors to disclose "ties" with NRA

Posted by David Hardy · 12 October 2018 07:38 PM

The vote was unanimous. Its sponsor explains, "the city's residents and stakeholders deserve to know how the city's public funds are being spent, and whether taxpayer funds are being spent on contractors that have contractual or sponsorship ties with the NRA."

This would seem to be Unconstitutional on a federal level, and possibly also a violation of the Unruh act in California...

But I'm just a physician..

Which NRA are they referring to? There are a number of NRAs including the Roosevelt era National Recovery Act.

Let's say some artist produces hand painted ties with NRA imagery, contractors can truthfully say that they have no NRA ties. Riiight?
