Yes, and everyone out there needs to read Eliott's Debates or Meigs' consolidation of the Elliot's Debates.

When you find out the Framers DID NOT APPROVE regulating stages on the post roads (no DOT) or the feds forming governments in new states or the President suspending laws, and dozens of other things, you MIGHT have some idea about what the US actually is. The Framers DID NOT allow for federal banks or paper money. One can wish all one wants but the actions of the Framers still should control how we read and understand our Constitution.

How about the FACT that the US are NOT a nation but are 50 nations in a Union. How about the FACT that the Framers removed ALL references to the US as a nation and the government as national BECAUSE they were NOT forming a nation.

Go read the debates or at least Meigs' work before you THINK you know something about the Constitution and what was established.
