So much for NY's registration of "assault rifles"

Posted by David Hardy · 24 June 2015 11:22 AM

About 44,000 have been registered, which is perhaps 4% of the total.

NYS Resident here. I suspect the registered figures are fudged and inflated. e.g. Those registered AW in NYC and Long Island must be LEO's and retired cops.

A moral victory, but little else. Prinz Andy and Pols who voted for SAFE don't care about numbers. The Media isn't going to bring the whole matter to question, either.

That's 4% too many.

New york will take these scofflaws piecemeal, and New York gun owners need to take a lesson from the occupy crowd.
Several thousand people need to show up and protest at the Police station EVERY TIME someone is arrested for a safe act violation.
Several thousand people need to show up and protest at the courts EVERY TIME someone is tried for a safe act violation.
Politicians need to encounter safe act protesters every day and every where they go.

Showing up at a few town halls didn't faze the politicians, they need to know people are not taking this lightly.
