Gunbroker.com hits back

Posted by David Hardy · 3 November 2014 03:08 PM

In Washington, an anti-gun group runs a TV ad that attacks the online auction website, and the operator hits back.

I support Gunbroker, and am glad to see they spoke out.

Just a nit, but the red-text warning on the site is not entirely correct. The warning states “Firearms may only be shipped to a licensed dealer (FFL Holder).” In fact, anyone can legally ship a firearm that qualifies as a curio or relic to a Type 03 FFL C&R license holder, who is by definition not a dealer.

It's a shame the Gunbroker.com reply probably won't get the "air-time" that the original ad did. If indeed the original ad is indeed libelous, I wonder if Gunbroker.com would pursue the matter.
