Pennsylvania passes preemption

Story here. Sounds like the statute allows for recovery of attorney's fees, which would be an important addition.

That's not all that's in the bill though; There's also the original content of HB 80 (secondary metal theft), and the other piece of the Alloway Amendment which mandates that the PA Commonwealth Police share certain information with NICS regarding mental health adjudications, and vacating of same.
It does two things: It declares that violations of the preemption clause adversely effect everyone in the commonwealth (thus sidestepping the standing issues which have stymied efforts to bring municipalities into compliance previously), and it provides for the recovery of "reasonable expenses."
