LA Times explores becoming a tabloid

But won't the parakeets dislike the new format? It'll probably be glossy and not very absorbent.

Well, there is an acceptable newspaper (barely) in Los Angeles, the Daily News (formerly known as the Green Sheet).

At least they cover news.

Smaller in size? Which begs the question, how many copies of the LA Times can you fit on the head of a pin?
