NRA, Bloomberg and Facebook
Stephen Wright has done done an interesting study. In terms of "likes," NRA has 10:1 advantage. In terms of increasing number of those, a 4:1 advantage. And in terms of age, NRA's following is clustered in the 25-44 age class, while Bloomberg's is in the 55+ age class.

Thanks for the link Dave!
There is a difference in age, but FB is not that old and it's immediate and now. Barrack Obama, for instance, has 40 million likes. Which means if he started his page 7 years ago he's averaged 652 likes per hour (did the math quick, but I think that's correct). And he only has support at his best of 54% of Americans.
If 90% of all American's want gun control, the numbers for this page would be astronomical, and not just old timers.
I'm not saying the anti-gunners don't have the perception of momentum from all the glowing media coverage ... but bottom line is I don't think they've moved the ball. I don't think they've changed the calculus for an election. And nothing I've seen since I did this has changed my mind.
It's a free country/republic, and people get to vote on a regular basis, so only time will tell, of course ...
While I like what the author is saying, I advise caution in interpreting the results. After all, the NRA is over one hundred years old while the others are only a few years old at most. Too much comparing watermelons to bean sprouts.
Of most significance to me is the age differences.
