10 most scariest words in the English language. :I'm from the government and I'm here to help you." It's even worse when you here "911 please hold" Or "Thank you for calling 911 please leave a message after the tone"

The government is all knowing and protecting, relinquish yourself to their power.

But don't count on us to actually protect you when the SHTF.

I overheard a conversation with an LAPD Captain saying to a Volunteer at a Neighborhood Watch meeting, "No, no. We don't provide security, we provide the ILLUSION of security."

Isn't it true in every state and at the federal level that "law enforcement" has no duty to protect any individual citizen (except, of course, for selected politicians)? If that is so, what is their basis for saying "don't defend yourself, call us"?
