Illinois CCW permit issued!

Word is that Illinois is mailing the first of its CCW permits today; 5,000 have been approved, with something over 40,000 more in process.

Another battle won in a long war. This is pretty monumental.
Tiocfaidh ár lá. And they damn well better get used to it.
Some ISRA members around the Springfield capitol reported receiving their CCL cards in the mail Saturday so its really happening.
I can't even imagine how strange it will be to walk out the door to my car and drive away with my old Commander upon the hip (as it normally is everywhere else but the Prairie State).
