Bill and Melinda Gates give $50,000 to gun control group
One more reason why I'm happy to be on the Mac platform.

Bill & Melinda are using their own money (and foundation) to further a cause they agree with. That is not necessarily Microsoft's cause.
Ms. Jobs does not sit on the Board of Directors at Apple, nor does she affect Apple policy.
Choosing your computer's operating system based upon the personal preferences of stock holders is silly. Start raising a fuss when the board of directors of Apple or Microsoft use the company's money to donate to causes with which you disagree. If you are a stock owner, you have a say in whether that is the best use of the company's money. You may also make a case for "diversity" and ask they also donate to organizations you support.
While I strongly suspect their intentions are far from pro-RKBA, the amount raises possible questions. Them giving $50K would be comparable to me leaving a penny tip in a restaurant, hardly a complement to the service.
"Gun control" means hitting what you intend to hit. I could use some more practice so how do I get my cut of that $50,000?
Whoops, maybe you should rethink that then.
"Now, less than two years after Mr. Jobs’s death, Ms. Powell Jobs is becoming somewhat less private. She has tiptoed into the public sphere, pushing her agenda in education as well as global conservation, nutrition and immigration policy. Just last month, for example, she sat down for a rare television interview, discussing the immigration bill before Congress. She has also taken on new issues, like gun control."
Maybe take a look at Linux?
