Video entries in the eternal debate

Posted by David Hardy · 16 May 2013 11:23 AM

Ammoforsale.com (which seems to actually have ammo for sale, a rare enough occurrence these days) is hosting a video debate:

9mm: the greatest cartridge ever made.

.45 ACP: the greatest cartridge ever made.

(You may have to click on the video tab to run the video in each). As far as I'm concerned, if the Lord had meant the 9mm to be the greatest cartridge ever made, he would have inspired John M. Browning to create it.

I don't think your divine inspiration argument against 9mm holds water as The Lord inspired JMB to create the .38 Auto, 9mm Browning Long and the .380 :)

The only solution is to get both.

Agreed - I like to collect them all! (The video makes a pretty good case for 9mm though!)

I'll stay with my .40, thank you very much.

Well at least the .45 part is correct.
Clearly, the .45 Colt (aka long Colt)is the very best.
Putting bad guys away since 1873. If it was
good enough for Marshall Dillon, Paladin, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy and a few episodes with Clint Eastwood & Steve McQueen, its
good enough to be the best :-).

I watched both arguments, and remain unswayed. If God had intended us to shoot 9mm Europellets out of our handguns, He would have arranged it so we all speak French.
Real men shoot .45 ACP.

If only 9s were loaded with 178gr Keith semiwadcutters...
