I'd note that the gun isn't exactly an advanced version. It's a single-shot .380 with smoothbore plastic barrel.

Actually, 32ACP as that is semi-rimmed.
The way it is reminds me of the little stamped out WW2 gun that shot one .45 acp, the Liberator I believe it was called.
The choice of name was not accidental.
Am I the only one who noticed the name?
There was a previous "Liberator". A cheaply made, single shot gun.
