Proposed documentary

Posted by David Hardy · 20 September 2012 10:30 AM

Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire". It documents the abuses under California's gun laws and tracks the role of racism and elitism in their promulgation. It's being promoted through Kickstarter, which means if the director gets to his goal of $65,000 (he now has $16,000 in pledges from 207 people), he gets funded, and if not, the pledges expire.

The project has expanded from a narrower California focus to a bit wider scope.

In for $10.

Good to see mentions of Deacons for Defence and the racist origins of gun control.

Not familiar with the Battle of Athens, so will have to read up on that.
