This tells me something about George Zimmerman's prosecutor

Posted by David Hardy · 7 June 2012 11:53 AM

Harvard Law Prof. Alan Dershowitz has been critical of Angela Corey's handling of the Zimmerman prosecution, and of her filing an affidavit that omitted important facts favorable to the defense.

So Ms. Corey responds.... calling the dean of the law school, ranting that she's going to sue the school, or maybe file criminal defamation charges against Dershowitz, or sue him.

Sounds like someone needs their prescription increased...

Sounds like someone needs to be recused from the case and reprimanded!

SRSLY Reprimanded...or dismissed and disbarred.
Angela Corey, that is, not Dershowitz...

"She should go back to law school, where she will learn that it is never appropriate to submit an affidavit that contains a half truth, because a half truth is regarded by the law as a lie, and anyone who submits an affidavit swears to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth," Dershowitz wrote.

That's gotta sting...deservedly so.

It takes a good prosecutor to convict a guilty man.

It takes a great prosecutor to convict an innocent man.

Guess she sees this as her ticket to become great and she knows it.

*I know not of Zimmerman's actual innocence, however given her half truths and behavior it appears even she thinks he's innocent in the eyes of the law.

Seems every time I turn around, I'm hearing someone threaten someone else with a lawsuit claiming slander. There's a woman who posted an opinion on a church she'd left who's being sued for daring leave a negative review online. I've also heard of authors threatening to sue book reviewers for slander after they leave a negative review. People really need to grow thicker skins. I'm sure not everyone is my fan, but they have their right to their opinion.

*Much to do about nothing*

Lawyers always get pissed off by other lawyers.

As a prosecutor, one has a professional responsibility to see that justice is done, not to obtain a conviction.

According to the police responding to a 911 call at the shooting of Travon by Zimmerman, the police found Zimmerman standing next to the victim on the ground. Zimmerman stated that he was below the victim when he shot him in self defense. There was never any evidence of any blood on Zimmerman's clothing. He had to struggle himself out from underneath the victim after he shot Travone and his clothing should have been soaked with some of the blood that poored out of the chest of Travon. Should not the police or the procecution question that? I believe the shooter is lying and perhaps he was shooting the victim while Travon was laying on his back point blank in the chest.
