Pretty lame....

AG Holder claims he's never discussed Fast and Furious with President Obama, DHS Sec Napolitano, or Sec. of State Clinton. I suppose cabinet meetings deal with things more important than agencies committing acts of war against an allied nation....

I suppose cabinet meetings....

Thing it, Obama is pretty notorious about not holding cabinet meetings. Part of this is bypassing the cabinet and working directly with his "Czars", part appears to be personal style where he does his a lot of his work alone and his [...] decision-making method–at least as described in the piece–seems to consist mainly of checking boxes on memos his aides have written for him.

HT the Instapundit, who notes this squanders a great deal of traditional Presidential influence in talking directly to the parties involved. (Although I suppose given how thin his skin seems to be and what compels him to use a teleprompter so much maybe it's the best he can do....)

What else could he say? When faced with a choice between malfeasance or incompetence, the decision is obvious.
