Suit filed in warrantless seizure

Complaint, in replevin, is here. I trust an action for damages will follow. Replevin is essentially asking for the property's return, and compensation for any damage done to it.

As usual the press made her out to be a gun nut with an arsenal that includes a sniper rifle. The list of guns is nothing of the sort. I'm assuming the listing of the SKS M-21 Sniper Rifle (sic) is a misnomer labeled by the impound? Not that the SKS is a bad rifle, but I certainly wouldn't consider that anything on par with a "Sniper" rifle. 20" Barrel and 7.62 x 39 is at best a 300 yard hitter. That is the only thing she has with any range to it at all.

These guys have no idea what firepower is. Twisting facts and demonizing your average assorted gun collection is really what's going on here.

I wonder it ATF was notified of the unlawful transfer of the NFA items. Seems the police have unregistered items.

The M21 is a deluxe grade Norinco-produced SKS variant.
